Katherine Wolf — Owner
Katherine Wolf graduated from beauty school in Hollywood in 1985. She worked for a few years in the Los Angeles and Century City area where she received extra training in the Vidal Sassoon curriculum before moving to San Francisco. During Katherine's 10 year career in San Francisco, she became Goldwell certified. In 1997 she relocated to Sonoma County and has worked in Petaluma ever since. She chose the name Shaar for the salon because in her spare time, she teaches and performs traditional Egyptian dance.
Katherine specializes in color, color correction, special occasion/wedding styles, and curly hair.

Joseph Blanchard
Joseph Blanchard began his hairstyling career 20+ years ago at a high end salon in Santa Rosa as an assistant for 2 years. He expanded out to Marin County in Corte Madera, San Rafael, and Mill Valley in the following years eventually moving his business back to Sonoma County after purchasing his first home. He works between Sonoma and Marin counties including seeing clients in their homes by special arrangement.
Joseph specializes in color, color correction, hair cutting, styling, perms, and hair relaxation services.
